The Mosaic Company (Mosaic) was created in 2004 with the merger of IMC Global and Cargill's fertilizer divisions. Today, Mosaic is one of the world's largest vertically integrated phosphate and potash fertilizer manufacturers, with mine locations in the US and Canada and an annual operational production capacity of 26.6 million tonnes. The company expanded its global presence with the acquisition of Brazilian company Vale Fertilizantes in 2018.
