Marubeni Corporation is a major Japanese integrated trading and investment business conglomerate, and one of the largest sogo shoshas. The corporation and its consolidated subsidiaries use their broad business networks, both within Japan and overseas, to conduct importing and exporting (including third-country trading), as well as domestic business, encompassing a diverse range of business activities across fields including lifestyle, ICT & real estate business, forest products, food, agribusiness, and chemicals, among others. Within food and agriculture, Marubeni has activities spanning almost the entirety of the value chain, from agricultural inputs to food manufacturing.
