Founded in 2005, GTT Communications operates a Tier 1 internet backbone. It also owns a fibre network with an expansive pan-European footprint and undersea cables. The company’s global network includes more than 600 points of presence on six continents. It provides services to large enterprises and carrier clients in more than 140 countries. In September 2021 the company was delisted, sold its infrastructure division and was bought by private investors.
