Formed by the merger between Interbrew and AmBev in 2008, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) is today one of the world’s largest brewing companies. The group has regional headquarters in locations such as London, Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Johannesburg, and owns 260 breweries and 69 vertically integrated operations across more than 50 countries. In addition, the company engages with over 20,000 farmers worldwide. In terms of its product portfolio, AB InBev manufactures and sells over 500 different branded beers worldwide, with leading market positions in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
