Bolton Group
Bolton Group is an Italian conglomerate that produces food, but also home care, adhesives, personal care and beauty care. The company owns 15 plants and 59 offices across the world, and its products are sold in 146 countries. More than two-thirds of Bolton Group’s sales come from food, and a significant portion of this comes from canned tuna. The company owns major European canned tuna brands such Rio Mare and Palmera in Italy, Isabel in Spain and Saupiquet in France. Since 2019 Bolton Group has owned Tri Marine, one of the world largest tuna suppliers. Bolton Group also has stakes in canned tuna producers Garavilla and Grupo Calvo.
