Kyokuyo is a vertically integrated seafood company. The company markets bonito, tuna and other fish products and it also produces canned fish and frozen foods. Kyokuyo operates in multiple business segments: the Marine Products Purchasing is engaged in the purchase, processing and sale of marine products; the Frozen Food segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of frozen food; the Logistics Service segment operates refrigerated warehouse business, and the Tuna Fishery segment is engaged in catching and processing sliced bonito and tuna. In 2022, Kyokuyo built a plant in Thailand for the manufacture of raw, grilled, and simmered fish products.
