The food service operating segment serves leading food service establishment like restaurants, hotels and convenience stores. The international segment focuses on its growing presence outisde the United States. Internationally, the company markets its products through Hormel Foods International Corporation (HFIC), a wholly owned subsidiary. HFIC has a global presence in the international marketplace through joint ventures in locations including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan and the Philippines.
