BRF

BRF is a multinational company headquartered in Brazil with over 90,000 employees working in 130 countries. Born out of the merger between Perdigao and Sadia in 2009, BRF is today the largest producer of animal protein and the largest exporter of poultry in Brazil. While BRF has a strategic focus on the domestic markets in Brazil, it has also consolidated its presence internationally with an emphasis on growth in the Halal and international markets, particularly in the Middle East and Asia. BRF’s value chain includes 44 industrial complexes, with 38 located in Brazil, along with 50 distribution centres and offices worldwide. In 2022, BRF further bolstered its business operations in the Middle East by entering into a joint venture agreement with a sovereign fund of Saudi Arabia as well as investing in a new production plant in Dammam, a city in Saudia Arabia.
