Segment ranking summary
Migros ranks 51st among food retailers and 177th in the food and beverage manufacturers/processors segment. The Food and Agriculture Benchmark only evaluated publicly available information disclosed in English and available during the 2019/2020 reporting year. Therefore, this limited the company‘s performance, where it ranks in the bottom grouping for both segments. In environment, where there is some disclosure in English, the company ranks in the bottom grouping, with limited disclosure found on most issues related to the company’s sourcing practices. Nevertheless, going forward, the company can improve relative to its peers by disclosing more supportive quantitative information and time bound targets on the topics it has already disclosed on, such as GHG emission reduction targets and transitioning to more sustainable forms of packaging.
