Founded in 1851 by Leopold Dreyfus, today the company is active in more than 100 countries globally, with Europe, the Middle East and Africa its largest trading hubs. Louis Dreyfus Company is vertically integrated, with activities spanning production, processing, storage, merchandising and distribution, and diversified business activities including animal feed, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, bioenergy and transportation.
