Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) is involved in the origination and processing of agricultural commodities, and in the manufacturing, sale and distribution of specialty food and feed products and ingredients. Founded in 1902 as Daniel Linseed Company and incorporated as Archer Daniels Midland in 1923, today ADM is among the world's largest commodity traders. Its business is divided into three segments - Ag Services and Oilseeds, Carbohydrate Solutions and Nutrition - with activities spanning more than 50 countries across six continents. Soybeans and derivative products account for approximately 30% of the company's total revenue.
