Mowi
Founded in 1964, Mowi (previously known as Marine Harvest) is one of the world's largest producers of farmed salmon, both by volume and revenue. Mowi is a vertically integrated company, owning its supply chain from broodstock and genetic selection to processing and sales, with three main business segments of feed, farming and sales and marketing. The company predominantly focuses on salmon farming, though some of its subsidiaries process and sell a wider variety of wild-caught seafood products.
