Cutrale (Chiquita)
Cutrale is a family-owned company, founded in 1967, that today is one of the world’s largest processors and manufacturers of orange juice, with an operational presence mainly in Brazil and the US. In 2015, the company acquired Chiquita Brands International in a joint venture with J. Safra Group. Chiquita is involved in growing, procuring and selling bananas and other fresh produce, mainly pineapples. The company grows and sources bananas and pineapples in 10 countries in South and Central America, with bananas accounting for 85% of the company's sales. The company serves customers worldwide across 70 countries, with the main markets in North America and Europe.
