National Bank of Canada
Founded in 1859, the National Bank of Canada is one of Canada’s six systemically important banks and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada. It provides a full array of banking services, including retail, corporate and investment banking. The bank, through its subsidiaries, is also involved in securities brokerage, insurance and wealth management, as well as mutual fund and retirement plan management. It has more than 26,900 employees and has a presence in Canada, the US, Cambodia, Ireland, Malta, Thailand, and China. As of 2021, the National Bank of Canada had total assets of CAD 356 billion and 26,920 employees.
