Kohl's is a department store retail chain based in the United States. It is one of the largest department store chains in the country, with 1,162 locations. In 1927, Polish immigrant Maxwell Kohl first opened a grocery store in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before opening its first department store in 1962. The company has approximately 99,000 employees and earned USD 17.2 billion in 2022.
