Poyan Rajamand is an entrepreneur and operator working at the intersection of industrial hardware, digital business models and sustainability. He is the founder and CEO of Qatalyst, an enterprise platform that digitises project development and investment decisions for carbon projects, created as a joint venture between Standard Chartered Ventures and ENGIE. Previously, at Standard Chartered Ventures, he focused on venture building, creating and scaling new ESG ventures inside the bank. Before that, Poyan co-founded and led BBP, an industrial energy efficiency software company that scaled across ten countries in Asia-Pacific, serving Fortune 500 and semiconductor manufacturers, before its exit. Earlier in his career he worked at McKinsey & Company and Unilever. Poyan serves on the board of Air Water Green and holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MSc in Materials Science. He is based in Malmö, Sweden.
