German Southeast-Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG)

CPG is a German-Thai academic institute and think tank headquartered at the Faculty of Law at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. Established in 2009 upon a tripartite cooperation of two German universities, Münster and Frankfurt, and Thammasat University, CPG is one of only five centers of excellence worldwide that emerged from the prestigious excellence initiative of the German Federal Government.

CPG is active in research, teaching, consultancy, capacity-building, facilitation, and advocacy. Its focal areas comprise constitutional law and -politics / human rights, peace and security / geopolitics, mediation, governance and compliance.
