On the 29th of June 2023 the World Benchmarking Alliance will host a hybrid event on the sidelines of London Climate Action Week (LCAW). The event titled ‘Assessing the credibility of transition plans in the oil and gas sector’, will present the key findings of the 2023 Oil and Gas Benchmark, developed in partnership with CDP. Additionally, we hope to highlight the major gaps that prevent accountability, credibility and commitments to action across the sector. By exploring the gaps, we will also identify areas that require catalytic action by all stakeholders. We will explore how we can ensure collective accountability and accelerate action. During the session we will leave space for different stakeholder voices within the ecosystem and encourage dialogue about how we can translate commitments into tangible next steps.
Join us virtually for a brief presentation of our key finding, panel discussion from experts in the field and Q&A session. 14h30 – 16:00 BST
