Launching on 13 January 2026: 2,000 companies, 2,000 insights

The state of global corporate accountability

A major WBA milestone is on the horizon. This January, we’re unveiling our Corporate Sustainability Benchmark – a global analysis that reveals how the world’s 2,000 most influential companies are driving – or delaying – the sustainability transformations needed to safeguard people and planet.

Why does this matter? These 2,000 corporate giants power the systems we rely on every day — from food and energy to housing, transport, finance and digital services. Together, they generate $45 trillion in revenue (46% of global GDP), are responsible for 54% of global emissions, and employ 99 million people directly, with hundreds of millions more shaped by their supply chains. Their decisions ripple across the world, influencing everything from climate stability to inequality, from biodiversity to digital rights. In a turbulent world, their transformation is essential for our collective future.

What can you expect?

On 13 January 2026, we will publish:

  • Assessments and rankings of 2,000 companies across 10 benchmarks
  • Five cross-cutting key findings with leading practice examples — spanning climate, biodiversity, cost of living, AI and supply chains

  • Access to all data via our new API and Data Warehouse

How to get involved

The countdown is on. Get ready for the insights that will set a new global benchmark for corporate accountability.
