Tokyo Metro

Tokyo Metro is a joint-stock urban rail operator founded in 2004 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It is owned jointly by the Government of Japan and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Tokyo Metro manages Tokyo’s subway system and related transit services, operating across multiple lines with coverage of the city’s core. In 2017, it established a subsidiary, Vietnam Tokyo Metro, to support operations of the Hanoi Metro.
