Tata Communications

Tata Communications is a public telecommunications company headquartered in India. It was founded in 1986 as Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited, then acquired by Tata Group and rebranded in 2002. Its customers are primarily telecommunications operators and enterprises that use the company's large internet backbone in India as well as its subsea fibre network, which at more than 240,000 kms is one of the largest in the world. Tata Communications is included in the Forbes Global 2000.
