Saudi Electricity Company

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is a publicly listed, majority state-owned company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. SEC is the biggest producer of electricity in Saudi Arabia and has a monopoly on the transmission and distribution of electric power in the Kingdom. The company was established in 2000 to upgrade national energy infrastructure and achieve the national energy plan. The company is listed in the Forbes Global 2000.
