Proparco

Proparco, founded in 1977 and headquartered in France, is the private sector financing arm of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Group, which is wholly owned by the French government. As part of this state-owned group, Proparco supports private investment by providing financing and advisory services to businesses and financial institutions. Its activities focus on sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, agribusiness, financial services, health, and education across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
