Osaka Metro

Osaka Metro is a municipally owned urban rail operator founded in 2018 in Japan following the transfer of operations from the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau. It manages eight metro lines that form the backbone of rapid transit in Osaka and extend into nearby municipalities, including Sakai, Suita, and Higashiosaka. Its Midosuji Line is a core route for millions of passengers across the metropolitan area.
