Nordea is a publicly listed European financial services group founded through a series of Nordic bank mergers in 2001 and headquartered in Finland. It is the largest bank in the Nordic region, operating across four main business areas: Personal Banking, Business Banking, Large Corporates & Institutions, and Asset & Wealth Management. The bank is listed on the Nasdaq Nordic exchanges in Helsinki, Copenhagen, and Stockholm, and its American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) are traded in the United States. Nordea is included in the Forbes Global 2000.
