National Grid

National Grid is a publicly listed company headquartered in London, United Kingdom, focused on electricity and gas transmission and distribution. It owns and operates the high-voltage electricity transmission network in England and Wales, and electricity distribution networks in parts of the United States, including New York and Massachusetts. National Grid was re-listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1995, following re-privatisation of the UK energy grid in 1990. It is a constituent of the FTSE 100 index and ranked in the Forbes Global 2000.
