MTA

MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) is a public benefit corporation chartered in 1965 and headquartered in New York, United States. It oversees and operates public transit and toll infrastructure across the New York City metropolitan area, including subways, buses, commuter railroads, bridges and tunnels. Its transit arm, New York City Transit, runs the city’s subway and bus networks. MTA is one of North America’s largest transit authorities.
