MegaFon
MegaFon, formerly CJSC North-West GSM until 2002, is a privately held telecommunications operator headquartered in Russia. The company provides mobile and fixed line services, broadband internet, and digital TV. MegaFone was the first company to provide coverage in the entire Russian territory. In 2022 the company was expelled from the GSMA association. In 2023, the company was included in the United State's sanctions list, after Russia's attack on Ukraine.
