Light Rail Transit Authority

Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) is a government-owned and controlled corporation under the Department of Transportation in the Philippines. Created in 1980 and headquartered in Pasig City, Philippines, it is responsible for the construction, operation, maintenance, and leasing of the Manila Light Rail Transit system. LRTA’s mandate covers multiple LRT lines in Metro Manila, with roles spanning infrastructure oversight, service regulation, and system expansion planning.
