KT Corporation, formerly Korea Telecom, is a publicly listed telecommunications company headquartered in South Korea. Established in 1885 as the Korea Telegrams Hansung Administration and rebranded in 1981, KT offers mobile and fixed-line services, broadband, satellite, digital TV, fintech, IT infrastructure, and sports-related ventures. The South Korean government retains an indirect stake through the National Pension Service. KT is included in the Forbes Global 2000.
