Japan Pension Fund Association

The Japan Pension Fund Association is a government-established public institution originally formed as a federation of employees’ pension funds under the Employees’ Pension Insurance Act. Restructured in 2004, it provides pension benefits to individuals leaving corporate pension funds and manages the integration of various schemes, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans. The association plays a central role in administering and consolidating pension schemes within Japan’s public pension system.
