Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group is a publicly listed iron and steel smelting company founded in 1997 and headquartered China, with the government as a major shareholder. It is one of the largest steel companies in China and is involved in producing, manufacturing and selling iron and steel products, as well as non-ferrous metal products. These are used in various industries, such as automobiles, construction, and bridge and shipbuilding. Hunan Valin Steel is listed in the Fortune Global 500 and the Forbes Global 2000.
