Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan
The Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) is a private, independent trust fund headquartered in Canada and established in 1960. It provides defined benefit pensions for Ontario’s healthcare workers and is governed by a board of trustees representing employers and employees. While regulated under public pension legislation, HOOPP operates independently of the government and is recognised for its stable, long-term pension delivery and prudent fund management.
