GPIF

GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund) is a state-owned pension fund headquartered in Japan. It manages and invests the reserve funds of the government pension plans entrusted by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. GPIF is recognised as one of the world’s largest pension funds by assets under management. Its main activities include the investment and management of public pension reserve funds, with a focus on long-term, diversified global portfolios across asset classes.
