The company operates as a global dairy co-operative owned by farmer shareholders, engaged in the collection, processing, and marketing of milk and dairy products. Its portfolio includes dairy ingredients, foodservice solutions, and consumer brands such as Anchor, Anlene, and Anmum. Formed through the merger of the New Zealand Dairy Group and Kiwi Cooperative Dairies, Fonterra is recognised as one of the world’s leading dairy nutrition companies and a major exporter of dairy products.
