Eskom

Eskom is a fully state-owned company headquartered in Sunninghill, South Africa. It is the largest producer of electricity in Africa and the country’s primary electricity supplier. The company generates, transmits, and distributes electricity to industrial, mining, commercial, agricultural and residential customers, operating a diverse fleet that includes coal, nuclear, hydro, and renewable energy plants. Eskom is a major trading partner in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and plays a major role in ensuring energy security in the region.
