EGAT

EGAT (Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand) is a fully state-owned enterprise headquartered in Thailand, operating under the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Finance. EGAT is responsible for the generation, transmission, and bulk supply of electricity across the country, including sales to major distribution utilities. It manages a diverse portfolio of power generation assets such as hydropower, thermal, and renewable energy plants, and provides engineering, system development, and consultancy services in the regional power sector.
