CPP Investments (Canada Pension Plan Investment Board) is a government-owned company headquartered in Canada and founded in 1997. It is a professional investment management organisation that invests the assets of the Canada Pension Plan. The financial institution's six investment departments are: Total Portfolio Management, Capital Markets and Factor Investing, Active Equities, Credit Investments, Private Equity and Real Assets. It is a state-owned entity, accountable to the Canadian Parliament.
