Bayer acquired Monsanto in 2018, expanding its agricultural portfolio and divesting certain seed assets to BASF. The company is known for brands such as Aspirin, Claritin, and Roundup. Bayer is listed in the Fortune Global 500 and the Forbes Global 2000.
