It is a one of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers, specialising in advanced lithography systems used to produce integrated circuits. ASML is known for its extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUVL) machines, which are critical for producing smaller and more powerful microchips. It is the world's only supplier of this technology. The company’s systems are used by major chip manufacturers worldwide. ASML is included in the Forbes Global 2000.
