2021 Access to Seeds Index Insights Report

In 2021, the Access to Seeds Index evaluated the efforts of 67 of the most influential global and regional seed companies to reach smallholder farmers in countries with high yield gaps and potential agricultural productivity. This Insights report provides more depth to the 2021; results with cross regional analysis, a case study and next steps. This report elaborates on the company’s efforts across three regions. To shine a light on the breath of the seed sector and its players, the report also looks into the role of seed-producing cooperatives in our food systems.
