Research Analyst - Urban

As an architect and urbanist, Rohan believes in a holistic approach to shaping and preserving the built environment, striving to contribute to sustainable and thriving spaces. He is a research master’s graduate in Urban Studies from the University of Amsterdam, his thesis explored the gap in understanding the relationship between social integration policies and territorial stigma in ethnically diverse neighbourhoods.

Working as a research analyst at WBA, Rohan supports the Urban Benchmarking Team in enhancing corporate accountability for sustainable cities. Selected as a UN SDSN Local Pathway Fellow, he focused on ‘localizing’ SDG 11 and produced a project brief on sustainable student housing in Amsterdam. With over 3 years of experience in design and research projects, including the Net-Zero R&D Campus for Indian Oil Corporation and analyzing development patterns in the Metropolitan Region of Amsterdam for UGoveRN, Rohan brings a wealth of expertise to WBA.
