Marko Niko Baloloy

Marko is a Research Analyst in the Climate and Energy Team. His motivation to join WBA is driven by his past professional and academic engagements that highlighted the importance of the private sector’s contribution towards climate finance and action. His passion for low-carbon transition, mainly in the hard-to-abate sectors, fuels this motivation.

Previously, he worked with development banks, international organizations, and governments in developing countries focused on addressing climate change and environmental issues and promoting green growth. He holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management and a Climate Reality Leader.
