Maaike Doorman

Maaike joined WBA in July 2023 from the Gold Coast, Australia. As the People Operations Lead, she is responsible for leading on everything people operations, rolling out the people ops strategic priorities and guiding the team and people leaders in operational processes and best practices.

Maaike’s qualifications include a postgraduate in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology, as well as several other people analytics related certifications. She has around 9 years of People Operations experience in start-ups and scale ups organisations with a mission for a better world.

She has a particular interest in looking into how employees & teams stay motivated and collaborate, as well as how organisations can improve with a positive atmosphere, where employees understand and use each other’s qualities for optimum output and job satisfaction.
