Jan Mattsson

Jan Mattsson is board chair and board member of companies and organizations devoted to ESG principles and to sustainable development. He is also executive coach and strategic advisor to leaders of international organizations. In his earlier career, Jan managed UN organizations and programmes with UNDP, UNIDO, UNFPA, UNODC, WFP and UNOPS, and was inspector of social and environmental compliance under the board of the World Bank Group. He has extensive experience of multi-stakeholder interests and working with governments, civil society and private sector in all regions of the world.

Jan has a Ph.D. in Engineering, with a specialization on management of technological change, and he is Competent Board ESG certified.
