Blanca leads WBA´s earned media strategy as part of the communications team. She focuses on generating global media awareness of WBA´s growing movement and its impact. Combining her passion for communication and sustainability, Blanca believes the media is a crucial ally to drive positive change and incentivize all stakeholders to build a sustainable future.
Prior to joining WBA, Blanca worked as a corporate reputation specialist at PR consultancy Ketchum London, where she devised WBA´s media strategy to launch the SDG2000 at the World Economic Forum at Davos. Blanca has a decade of experience in international communications across the corporate and financial sectors, developing media campaigns for sustainability projects and ESG funds. She worked in a variety of roles including as a public relations, journalist, marketing assistant and events organiser.
Blanca holds two BA degrees in Journalism and Advertising and a MA degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Catalan and Dutch.
