2020 Digital Inclusion Benchmark Synthesis Report
To deepen the understanding on the key findings and data brought to light and life through the Digital Inclusion Benchmark, we have published a synthesis report. This report presents the in-depth analysis of the performance of 100 keystone digital companies against 16 indicator in four measurement areas: access, skills, use and innovation.
These indicators are based on one or several of the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) agreed by all 193 United Nations members
in 2015, which provide a roadmap to a sustainable future for the world. The actions of private sector organisations – and digital companies, in particular – will be vital for achieving the SDGs by 2030. Evidence-based metrics for technology companies provide a yardstick for measuring their performance in the area of digital inclusion, which contributes to sustainable development.
