Wilmar International is among Asia's largest agribusiness groups, with activities across multiple commodities and products including grains, oilseeds, sugar, and fertilizer. The company has over 500 manufacturing plants worldwide with a distribution network spanning more than 50 countries, including a strong regional presence in China, India, and Indonesia, and owns approximately 279,000 hectares of palm oil plantations across Indonesia, Malaysia, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Nigeria. Wilmar has solidified its market position with a series of acquisitions over recent years, including Shree Renuka Sugars, one of the largest sugar companies in India, and Goodman Fielder, a diversified food company across Australasia. In addition to agri-products, the company also processes consumer products, most of which are edible oils.
