Tyson Foods is the world's second largest animal protein producer, and the biggest in North America, with the company producing one of every five pounds of chicken, pork and beef consumed in the US. Tyson has a weekly processing capacity of 155,000 cattle, 461,000 pigs and 45,000,000 chicken across 201 production sites, with distribution channels including consumer products, food service, international and industrial. Outside of the US, the company is structured into three regional divisions - China/Korea, Asia Pacific, and Europe - through which it serves customers in over 100 countries worldwide. Alongside its 142,000 employees, Tyson works with 11,000 independent livestock and poultry farmers.
