SHEIN is an online fast fashion retailer founded in 2008 in China. Initially, the company sourced its products wholesale and was not involved in design and manufacturing. Over time, SHEIN became fully integrated and now has over 3,000 suppliers. In 2022, the company became the world's largest fashion retailer, and moved its headquarters to Singapore, whilst keeping most of its manufacturing facilities in China. In 2022, it reported USD 23 billion in revenue and employed around 10,000 people.
